Does anyone use the RISE sleep app?

I downloaded it yesterday after seeing lots of ads but I don’t really get it. It seems to have based the data entirely on my phone use. So I don’t use my phone for at least 30 minutes before bed and so it thinks that’s when I go to sleep. Then it’s recorded “energy peaks” at 8.45am and 3pm. No, that’s just when I do the school run so am walking. And I usually do a bit of admin (emails etc) on my phone while I eat lunch and it’s recorded that as “energy slump”.
I don’t understand how it’s calculated how much sleep it thinks i need.

And it’s telling me to go to bed at 8.22pm which is ridiculous because I’m still getting my kids to bed at that time!

Does anyone use it and find it works?

Yes I have been using it for several years. I enter when I have fallen asleep, been awake during the night and woken up. Like this I have used it to keep track and reduce my sleep debt which has improved my wellbeing.

I’ve been using Lululight - it’s new and it’s free to sign up at the moment!

Sounds interesting, what benefit is it supposed to offer?

It uses light to trick your brain into various sleep states - I use the power nap and feel amazing after! Weird but works!

Mine links to my Fitbit so it can read how much sleep I’ve had.
