Hayfever eyes

I have had the Kennalog injection privately this year. I don't even know if it helps at all but I would try anything so I've had that for the last 4 years, normally in March time. I take Dymista steroid spray and Fexofenadine on prescription from May onwards. I also take Piritin and Loratidine and whatever else I can find but so far haven't felt much relief from anything except maybe the Dymista which helps with sneezing. I can actually cope with the up to 500 sneezes a day but my eyes my eyes....I want to pull them out.
My eyes are small and red, with big puffy bags underneath, they're so itchy, feels like there are grains of sand in them or maybe glass shards ground into powder. I look terrible. I miss out on events if they involve being outside but even staying in doesn't really help. I have tried eye drops both over the counter and on prescription and found them all useless. I wish there was one that numbed my eyes so I can't feel anything.

The only thing that helps is lying flat with a wet, cold cotton pad on my eyes, on repeat, but that's not really compatible with work!

I wear sunglasses as much as possible. Depending on the weather I feel like I have 3-4 weeks of some days constant sneezing May- June and then 3 weeks of unbearable eye irritation. I'm miserable. It keeps me awake and I'm exhausted. At the start and end of that period there are random pockets of hayfever irritation.

Give me hope - did anyone's hayfever just disappear? Mine started quite out of nowhere 11 years ago with pregnancy in my thirties.
It really affects my daily life and mood.

Some years i have tried taking the meds from March onwards but it didn't seem to help and I worried about the long term effects. But then kennalog is risky too.

I believe some people take antihistamines all year around like a daily pill. Does anyone here do that and recommend it?

Mine has, just gradually got easier. I bought some hay fever wipes from Home Bargains I think, dh gets very itchy eyes and he uses them every time he comes inside. Hope you find a solution.
