I mean, she looks nice, fine, like she does every other outing. She is a very trim, very dignified person wearing exactly what is expected of her. A vision though?

What's OTP?

heresiarch · 16/06/2026 21:09

She looks like a woman who is struggling to regain a healthy weight after a long and difficult illness.

SilenceInside · 16/06/2026 21:12

I mean, it’s a headline from Tatler, it’s going to be that sort of positive hyperbole. It’s pretty meaningless and no one takes it very seriously, surely?

I think she's lovely looking and I'd kill for her figure. I like the evening dresses she wears but she could take more risks with her day clothes.

Do you think she's too thin?

I'm just jealous because noone would describe me as that but I think she's got a nice figure.

LocalHobo · 16/06/2026 21:23

Only the Princess of Wales and the female contestants on The Apprentice wear heels like that during the day. Seems strangely dated to me. Love Sophie's shoes.
I'd kill for her figure I hope her figure doesn't cause her illness.

Inthesummertimewhen · 16/06/2026 22:29

She's a stunning woman and her work outfits are so boring id live to see her in somerhng more vibrant and young !!

I thought she looked sensational at the.corninariin.

MeetMeOnTheCorner · 16/06/2026 22:35

@heresiarch She’s been that skinny for years. Not just recently.

@heresiarch She’s been that skinny for years. Not just recently.

Compare how she looked a couple of years before she got married to now. She was always trim but 15 years and three children later and she's thinner now than she was then. It's clear she's still struggling to recover from the effects of her health problems.

Sophie mostly always looks great! That style of dress would suit Kate… less ‘rigid’

Sophie’s dress is gorgeous

Yep, it’s so much nicer! I’d wear that, wouldn’t dream of wearing one like Kate’s.

MeetMeOnTheCorner · 17/06/2026 06:25

@heresiarch Oh yes, before she got married but that’s 15 years ago! Many women do stay slim after dc and she’s not much different to 6 or 7 years ago. Or even at her wedding. I think she could ideally put on weight but it’s not easy to do that.

icannotlivelaughloveintheseconditions · 17/06/2026 07:05

She’s a nice looking woman who carries herself well (as you expect given her role) and can afford expensive well cut clothing.

noshade · 17/06/2026 08:34

Catherine always looks immaculate but I don't personally like those coat dresses much. Sophie looks lovely!

BitOutOfPractice · 17/06/2026 08:37

Nude court shoes again? Bloody hell has the woman not got any other shoes?!?

BillericayDickie · 17/06/2026 08:54

the duchess of Edinburgh looks lovely.

I hate that she’s held up as THE vision of femininity. Like the Madonna herself. It’s not about her personally, I’m sure she’s perfectly pleasant (if incredibly, but understandably, dull in her fashion choices) but my god, some variety in the celebration of women wouldn’t go amiss.

Slim? Tick.
Mother? Tick
Long hair? Tick
Silent? BIG TICK.

But then I’d do away with the entire idea of monarchy. Awful concept.

Same here. I really don't get the worship. Even if you believe the blood royals are somehow magical beings the idea that you can go from being so eone no one would look twice at to someone we're now required to bow and scrape to just because you married into the institution is utterly bizarre to me
