Powerbank issue, potentially dangerous

Please help!
We have a few powerbanks which we use from time to time.
However, just found one at the back of the drawer which has swollen up and split its case.
How do we safely dispose of it?
Pics attached. It's in a tin at the end of the garden at the moment. I haven't closed the tin.

I would’ve been worried about this too @PGmicstand It’s funny really, I’ve never been scared or worried about batteries at all in my whole life until recently, when I keep seeing news articles of batteries causing devastating house fires and bin lorry fires. But these things must have happened in the past!
