If you've found creatine, what benefits have you experienced, if any?

What has it done to your appearance?

Thanks everyone for the replies. I wasn't sure whether I'd need a loading phase but sounds like many of you didn't do this, so I may give that a miss.

Ive heard it's good for the brain as well.

Glad you asked this @Chocolattecoffeecup as I’d been wondering the same, and am grateful for the posters who’ve answered. Good to know you don’t have to load.

I’m early 50s, female and am newish to strength training - it sounds like it’s really beneficial.

Yo8 don’t need it as said, it’s just a timing thing, if you want to reach muscle saturation fast, then load, but otherwise you will get to the exact same point in 3-4 weeks.

if you’re hugely into strength training and need muscle results fast ie within a a week or so, load. Otherwise don’t bother. I noticed the effects very quickly and I didn’t load. Ie within a few days,

Can you take it in e.g. porridge? I see it advertised to go in drinks, but I'm more likely to actually take it in porridge.

I put it in my porridge. But I am not sure if it's causing digestive problems, so I stopped using it for a while.

Thanks, no I don't need results fast and I'm wondering whether I need it at all but I have bought some so weighing up the pros and cons!
