Concerned about 14 month old not weight bearing or pulling up

I really need some help as I am driving myself mental, my son is 14months he only army crawls, he doesn’t walk, pull to stand, and has randomly stopped weight bearing on his feet. I seem to be the only one that is concerned, physio, gp, health visitor, my partner, everyone keeps saying “he will get there when he’s ready” but why is he not getting it, it’s making me ill with stress and I don’t know what I am doing wrong.
He doesn’t really want me to help him and when he does he just put his head down onto the floor, has anyone had any similar experiences or any advice?

This bit: 'randomly stopped weight bearing on his feet' - when did this change happen?

Do you have a supportive friend or relative? I'd go to the GP with someone, ask them specifically what the relevant milestones are and say you want to be referred for the sudden change in behaviour.

If they say no, say you want them to guarantee there is no underlying cause and make note of the fact you were denied the referral.

I am not saying there is definitely something wrong, just that you should not be brushed off.

He should be seen by a pediatrician really if he’s not weight bearing or pulling up to stand at 14 months.

I would get a second opinion. The loss of bearing weight is important to get investigated.

Thank you for your messages,

so it he will do some times if I place him next to something that is very interesting, but not pulling to stand etc,

I will definitely call my gp tomorrow and will take one of my friends with me,

My DS (now a teen) was similar, only he just didn’t move (no crawling, scooting or anything). When he was nearer 18/19 months, I was really worried. If we’d try to make him walk, he would hold our hands and lean into us. He was premature baby and I thought it was a definite developmental delay. GP referred him to paediatrician; I was told he was vitamin d deficient, low to the point weight would have caused pain and cramp sensations in his legs (those were the doctors words). As soon as he started high dose vitamin d, he was a changed boy- we were referred to physio too which was a huge help as he’d never bent his legs.

Just sharing my experience as sometimes it’s something as simple as a deficiency; I hope you do manage to get GP to check and maybe refer.

I think if you’re very worried you should see your GP.
My granddaughter didn’t walk until 18 months. She didn’t crawl or pull herself up at all before this. Just randomly started walking after standing her up ( because she couldn’t pull herself up) and getting her to walk between her parents. She only learned to crawl after walking! Pulling herself up was never a thing at all.
shes 5 now and no issues.
