And, if people cold call asking if your guttering needs cleaning, they often get reported to the police as it's not out of the ordinary for them to be scammers.

I don't know if it is just me, but I am finding MN a bit odd. There are a few new names that have popped up who are posting really aggressively about politics, how terrible "lefties" are and anything immigration related. A couple of them are really rather sinister.

Maybe they will vanish into the ether after June 18th.

Im not convinced they're British either. If they are, their linguistic and political influences seem rather American.

I wouldn't risk much on the assumption MN is in anyway like real life.

Some of the posts in the Sturgeon thread are as unhinged as the royal threads.

That really does not surprise me. The hate faction on MN against the SNP generally and Sturgeon specifically is really embedded.

I saw one yesterday suggesting she was secretly gay. As if that would be terrible in this day and age. People on MN are fully bananas.

I see this morning that Farage has thrown his toys out of his pram because the Beeb won’t have him on Desert Island Discs. Hilariously his response is “I have come to expect nothing less from the BBC — their blatant bias has been obvious for years. The BBC will have a rude awakening under a Reform government.”

Hopefully the beeb respond in kind and stop giving him such an easy ride.

So basically Farage is hoping/betting that Labour will fall so low in the polls, that the Government will call an early election. This has been the strategy of Reform from July 2024. Stock marketing the future of the UK.

Labour should stand firm against this egregious speculation and serve the full term.
