Suncream allergy, any recommendations?

Hello mners! My daughter who is 11 has suddenly become sensitive to suncream. It makes her very itchy and brings her out in a rash, particularly if she's put it on her face. The itchy rash is not limited to directly where she's applied the cream, eg comes up behind her ears. Has anyone come across this and can you recommend any brands that would be worth a try? Thanks.

Dermatologist recommended eucerine and I have had no issues with it.

Altruist is good, but she might be better with a mineral sunscreen if she's reacted to more than one type of chemical sunscreen. Green People do one.

I use La Roche Posay (recommended by my dermatologist because I have cancer, not a reaction), but I also used to use it with my dc who used to react to suncreams. It’s expensive so I tended to use it for face and neck and a standard children’s suncream for arms and legs.

I’ve not used it, but Altruist is also supposedly very good.

I have sensitive skin + rosacea and am using aveeno calm factor 50.

I find eucerin heavy/greasy and altruist anti red cream makes my rosacea flare up.

Thanks for the suggestions! We tried altruist which is definitely a bit better but a mineral one that I had for the face was even better, so I think we'll have to get a mineral based one that's designed for larger area spreadage.

We use Ultra Sun- it’s the only one that doesn’t give my kids a rash. It is expensive though which is the downside

My son the same and allergic to generic creams. La Roche Possey is only one he can tolerate.
