Can anyone recommend Archies flip flops

Hello everyone, I’ve had a lifetime of different flip flops, I prefer them to every other footwear. Sadly, however, I have developed arthritis in both feet and the orthopaedic chap has very firmly advised me to wear good quality running shoes, which I have been doing. I’ve had bone fusion surgery to one foot and should be having the other done later this year.

But I yearn for flip flops again, and I keep getting a Facebook ad for Archies. They are not flat, which is what the consultant said I must absolutely avoid, so I’m tempted to give them a go, maybe just for tootling about the house to begin with. Just wondering if they are as supportive and comfortable as the advert suggests?

They work for me, much more comfortable than ordinary flip flops,

They’re great. They used to do options of an even higher arch, which was incredible, but even the generic arch is good. They also have nicer styles these days - I have white with a little gem, just like a Haviana!

I have the slider type ones and I am very underwhelmed. I think they are really expensive for what they are. They are tight on my feet and not very comfortable. (Wide feet with a high instep, plantar fasciitis).

I shelled out for a pair of fit flops last year and they’ve been really good. I have an underfoot bone spur and mostly wear trainers, but I am ok in them. I’ve also been tempted by the ads! The fit flops are pretty ugly.

I have Archies and also Fit Flop, and I have plantar fasciitis.

Archies definitely have a more pronounced arch bump which takes getting used to but is fine.
FitFlops are super comfortable from the off for me.

But my sister hates both of them, so really the only way to know is to try them yourself, sorry. Amazon and Ebay often have discounted FitFlops (new), but not sure about Archies.

Yes! They're brilliant, I've tried Fit Flops and found them really uncomfortable. Live in Archies in the summer, can walk for ages without getting footsore and they're the first flip flops I've had where the toe post doesn't rub

Well that’s convinced me! Thanks everyone!
