What hairstyle works best for thick curly hair with low maintenance?

Whats your hair style.
Are you a long hair woman or a short hair woman.
Are you up and ready low maintenace hair or do you spend a while getting it in to shape.

I have bra length hair grown for 2 year from a shaved head.
To be honest i dont like it very much, its thick curly wavey hair, mostly up in a messy bun.

Its all natural no dyes heat nothing as touched my hair but its so much drama with it.

So may i ask what is an easy style or should i just go for the buzz cut.

Just above the shoulders for me, thick wavy hair. I find the longer it gets, I struggle to maintain the wave.

Usually I wash it every couple of days, a bit of mousse and defuse for 5 mins and it will be good. I can leave it to air dry and it will be fine. This is easy for me!

I have thick curly hair similar length to yours, it isn't easy hair and I don't think it ever will be. Where possible I wash, use product and air dry, I can get two days when it's curly then it ends up like a bird's nest and I have to wash it again. My hair is quite dry so if I straighten it I can get up to a week between washes, but still have to at least lightly run straighteners over it each morning after sleeping or the curl kicks back in. Or i clip it up in a crocodile clip. I found shorter harder it needed styling more and there was no just putting it up

For me I find shoulder length hair best- long enough to put up if needed, but I sometimes where it down. After realising my hair was in a messy bun most of the time I looked at Pinterest for ideas about different ways of wearing it up, as PP have said, it’s easier than styling it when short.

I also have thick, curly shoulder length hair. It’s much more defined, and much less frizzy if I only wash it with shampoo occasionally - maybe once a fortnight or so. I do conditioner washes in between, but it’s much better behaved when it is a bit dirty.
