Gas oven or dual fuel cooker for more even cooking?

Have always had fully gas ovens and am looking to get a new one but have been reading that electric ovens are superior in even cooking and the quickness of heating the oven.

I don't think I can switch from a gas hob though so am looking dual fuel.

Any input? Stick to fully gas or switch to dual fuel?

And also any recommendations on a cream or white cooker under £650

Electric oven and gas hob is my cooker of choice (so yes dual fuel). Electric hobs are crap and induction is OK if all you do is boil and warm things up but imo lack precision if you're used to controlling the flame. I cook a lot in a wok though and I think it's basically impossible to do that well without a flame because induction/electric don't get the sides hot.
[I use induction at my DMs and electric at my MILs and cook a lot both places so I have reasonable experience but others might correct me!]

I’m not the right person to comment as I have never liked gas ovens. Ridiculous and illogical I know, but they scare me!

I love gas hobs though and used to have a dual fuel cooker which I loved and thought was the best of both worlds if you needed to have a single unit. It’s many years ago so I don’t remember the make, but I suspect it was a Hotpoint.

Now that I am getting older I find a built-in oven easier than a traditional cooker, because there is less bending. For me, a built-in electric oven and separate gas or induction hob is the best solution.

Dual fuel is much better. When I moved to my current home, I discovered that the previous owners did not have a separate fuse/circuit for the cooker and Curry’s refused to install the cooker so I had to switch to the gas one.
I still miss the multiple functions that electric ovens have.

I prefer gas hob and electric oven but that's because i bake a lot and electric fan oven is best for baking. Also in a power cut i like options ( we've had a few🙄). Depends on what you cook really and whether it is worth any additional expense.

I’m happy with my current setup of electric oven and gas hob which was in the house when I moved in. I’d had both electric for years but I’m happy to have a gas hob again. One of the advantages of the gas hob is that during a power cut I’ll hopefully still have the gas hob for cooking and also to warm the kitchen. I also find the gas hob easier to clean than my previous ceramic one.
