Yikes Angela Scanlon

Did anyone else hear the car crash that was Angela Scanlon talking to Gary Davies on Radio 2 this morning? She was either still drunk or very hungover but it was a shambles, and not in a funny way. He held it together well, but she made herself sound a total idiot and like she's never had a mic in front of her face before.

Is the the woman that did those awful Verisure adverts?

She was terrible on The Apprentice discussion show, couldn’t say a sentence without looking at her notes

I don’t dislike her, but she was woeful on Pointless. I don’t know how long ago that was filmed, but if she is in line for a Strictly presenting job she’d need quite the brush up.

All I was essentially saying was that she has shown a characteristic of neurodivergence which people on this thread have decided that she is ‘unlikeable’ as a result of.

She is not obligated to tell us whether she is neurodivergent, or anything else about her personal life, but I think that it’s refreshing that she is representing characteristics that are the opposite of neurotypical. Moreover, if she is… or even if she isn’t… then how is it ok that people on this thread think it’s ok to take her down a peg or two because she behaves in a way that they don’t recognise.

If you don’t like her, just move on 🤷‍♀️

Totally agree . I loved that programme and it’s a shame they don’t make any more .I really liked her on that and I liked her quirky sense of style .I think I also follow her on instagram . She came across as warm , outgoing and engaging .

I am not sure I have seen her on much else . Did she not used to have her own chat show in Ireland, or am I confusing her with someone else ?

I’m not 100 percent but I think she had a podcast. But I loved that show so much, if I’m ever wealthy beyond my wildest dreams I will commission Robert to design me a quirky wee house.
