£200 to spend on myself. What would you buy?

Just that really…I have £200 to treat myself (birthday money). I’d like to buy something special, or a collection of nice things, that I wouldn’t normally buy/justify. I’ve got a decent wardrobe and can buy what I like to update that for summer. Also have more than enough handbags, shoes & make-up so don’t need any more. I was thinking maybe a nice necklace or a facial or even a spa day but open to other ideas.
What should I spend the money on? What would you buy?
(Apologies to anyone who feels that posts about “treat money” are tone deaf in the current climate but this money was given as a gift with instructions to do something nice with it.)
Thanks

Three jobs could mean different things. Each job could be an hour once a week or five hours a day seven days a week. Certainly one full time job could be more or fewer hours than three jobs.

Sorry wrong thread.

If there’s a rituals near you get one of their foaming shower gels. £10 and they last ages and then rituals always send really generous offers so I’ve never paid full price again! And then I’d book a spa day with treatment

A Lumie! I love mine. I got the bells and whistles one and it really has done wonders for my sleep and made getting up for work so much more bearable.
A GHD hair dryer - they have them at my gym and they really do make your hair feel so nice and smooth.

I agree with the GHD hairdryer. I have a Dyson but the ghd one at the gym is way better!

I already have a different pair from this company, they’re great.

those are nice! Are they heavy? I need really light earrings

Loving all the suggestions.
I’ve spent half my money on two new perfumes: YSL Libre L’eau Nue Parfum de Peau and a travel size Tom Ford Eau de soleil blanc. Both gorgeous summery scents, very pleased with them plus the extra bonus was 25% discount at Look Fantastic so basically got the soleil blanc for free iyswim. Still to decide what to spend the rest on…

@ShakyBake where do people buy vce from.??

Op id buy some plants for the garden , maybe even a small tree , and a really nice bottle of wine for me 30 quid plus that I'd never normally buy ,and maybe save rest for a really nice meal at restaurant I normally wouldn't consider

Amiacoolorwarmcolour · 17/05/2026 06:09

Either an item of jewellery. Or an experience such as a pottery course or a painting experience. I would say a yoga experience but £200 probably wouldn’t cover that.

I’d spend it on books and a decent bottle of wine.

They’re light, I can wear the pair I bought all day and they don't stretch out my ear lobes (I hate heavy earrings).

A Rigby and Peller bra.

I also got £200 for my birthday, just before Christmas, and I spent it on a Dualit toaster . I have lusted after one of these for ever, and I could finally spurge. I live by myself so it was definitely for me, and not my family.
