Has anyone tried WeSootheFootpulse for neuropathy or blood sugar support?

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried the

WeSootheFootpulse

and if they found it good/crap?
if you returned it, was that prices reasonable? Did you get your refund?

I keep seeing it advertised, it's currently £69.99

I'm considering it mainly to help reduce my HbA1c (diabeties) but also to help with the nerve issues in my keg/foot after my stroke. My circulation is apparently fine (checked by nurses) & I do walk daily, but wondering if this would help a bit too?

any thoughts would be most appreciated.

I have no idea what it is, do you have a link so I can have a look at it? I'm imagining some sort of electrical stimulator or a massager, but that wouldn't affect Hba1c so it must be something else.

I've found it. wesooth.com/products/wesooth-footpulse

So I have done a bit of reading and there are medical electrical devices that do help with muscle strength and can also help glucose control but they are used by medical professionals only. The type that you can buy are generally too low powered to do much except give you a tingling sensation.

I did read a study (which of course I can't find now so details may be a bit muddled) into the effects of calf raises or fidgeting. They got a cohort of middle aged or older office workers, some diabetic some not, to do about three minutes of seated calf raises (by lifting up their heels) every hour throughout the working day. Compared to the control group, glucose control was improved and Hba1c was lowered. So in theory if an electrical pulse can stimulate the leg muscles to contract it might have the same effect as doing calf raises, but I really don't think that this type of device has enough power. It might make your feet feel a little better in the same way as a tens machine helps with pain but again I don't think it would have enough electrical charge to do that either.

@BlackAmericanoNoSugar

thanks for taking the time to look into it 🌷

That was pretty much the conclusion I came to when I first saw the advert months ago, but the Ad keeps coming on & tempting me!

I was just wondering if anyone had actually bought one of this brand as they claim to have a stronger pulse than the offers.

i do heal raises etc & lots of stuff for various issues (diabetes, stroke, GTPS, etc) l. I just thought if anyone had any improvement using this it would be worth the £70 to add it into the mix when it's something easy to add to my day.

That sounds not unlike what they were discussing on a programme I heard a snippet of yesterday. It's not the same thing (they were talking about vibration plates) but there might be some similarities that might guide you in the right direction.

As for lowering the HbA1c, the only thing I found for that was having a CGM and seeing what foods were spiking me and avoiding them or changing the way I dosed for and ate them.

Good luck to you, @Ihad2Strokes Flowers

Sliced Bread - Vibration Plates - BBC Sounds

Can vibration plates boost fitness, bone density, and even lymphatic drainage?

Unfortunately I can't work since I had the stroke, the only help I qualify for is some PIP & I just can't afford to run a CGM.

i finger prick!

I know what I'm doing with diet etc.I walk & do as much other exercise as much as I can, it's just I can't exercise like I could pre stroke.

I'm T2 so cant 'dose for it'

I just wondered if this might help just a little.

Ill have a listen when I go to bed, thanks 🌷

Responding to the lady known as 'Ihad2Strokes' about WeSooth Foot Pulse...

Hello... I am so so pleased that you have had the good sense to research this before buying ... because, in a moment of madness (when I was in pain), I stupidly didn't. I ordered it on a whim, thinking it would eradicate the pain from diabetic neuropathy in my feet. The moment I placed the order, I felt uneasy...that I'd made a mistake. I did!

Their advert says, those with pacemakers or other electronic implants should not use it. What it omitted to say is the following people should also NOT use it... anyone with a history of Deep Vein Thrombosis; Blood Clots; Peripheral Arterial Disease; Epilepsy; Severe Neuropathy; Active Injuries (i.e. wounds, broken skin, infected areas, or acute fractures); or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

I researched this within an hour of ordering it. I emailed them immediately, asking them to cancel the order and explained why. They said, too late, already dispatched. Contact us when it arrives, and we will provide 'return' details, and we'll refund you in full once we receive it. But you will have to pay the shipping fees ... to China!

In the meantime, I'm feeling suspicious of this company. They have barely any online presence. They have no contact telephone number. Just one email address. And yet they have an extensive number of long-winded adverts across social media platforms...dressed up to look like not only satisfied customers, telling us how it helped them, but also from so-called medical professionals claiming how amazing it is... and, btw, the wording in every advert is almost identical. I contacted the fraud department at my bank, who are now looking into it.

Two weeks since I placed the order, the item has today arrived. I email WeSooth to arrange return. They respond with this:
"Instead of going through the return process, I can offer you a 10% refund right away and you can keep the product. This way, you avoid return shipping and still have the chance to properly try it without any risk."

WTF?? I previously explained to them that yes, I was foolish to order it without proper research, but that their advertising is very misleading, and I have medical conditions that would make it unsafe for me to use this device. They agreed it was not a problem to return it for a full refund!
I responded to them a couple of hours ago, stating I would be making a formal complaint, and if it is not resolved, then my bank will be launching an investigation to retrieve my money (£69.99).
To anyone reading this... Please Do Not Purchase Anything From This Company!!! 🙏
