Advice on a second-hand DSLR for plane spotting and air shows

Hi could anyone help me with a camera. I want to get DD a new camera . She currently has a kodak pixpro AZ588.

Shes into plane spotting and we sometimes go to air shows. I'm hoping to get her a DSLR camera. But I don't really know what I'm doing. My understanding is nikon or cannon are good as I can get different lenses.

I will need to buy second hand/reconditioned . I'm not sure of my budget but I'm hoping to find something that's 100-150. But if i can pay over time then around the 250-300 mark.

I am looking at a canon EOS 1100D that comes with a sigma 70-300mm lens. Thats £100 Im not sure how good this would be. Or if better looking for something else?

Any ideas /suggestions?

I bought a Nikon D3000 on marketplace for £150 which came with two lenses. I realise that I probably got very lucky with that but if you search dslr on marketplace you might find something similar

Buy clear filters to go over lenses - if the filters get scratched they are £20 if the lenses get scratched they are unusable dnd can be “whatever you want to pay for them” secondhand or not

Yes a body you can add lenses to is much more versatile

if you go on YT and look at Mach Loop or RAF Fairford there are plane spotters posting their pictures and might be worth asking them. Some record aircraft taking off or flying past or just take stills. They can prob give some advice.
