⚡️In Chișinău, Moldova, the "Russian House" has been closed.

🇸🇰Yesterday, a referendum was held in Slovakia on the abolition of the lifetime pension for Prime Minister Robert Fico. The referendum was declared invalid because only 16.3% of voters turned out — more than half was required.
Previously, lifetime payments only applied to the country's president. However, after Fico returned to power, the ruling coalition passed a law on pensions for the prime minister and the speaker of parliament. To qualify, an official must have been in office for at least 10 years, and currently only one person meets this criterion — Fico himself, who has led the government for a total of over 12 years.
The referendum also included questions on restoring the Special Prosecutor's Office and the National Agency for the Investigation of Criminal Offenses — bodies that previously combated organized crime and corruption. Fico abolished them after returning to power. Over 90% of those who voted supported both proposals.
