I've had rotator cuff issues for a few years now, and early last year (after months of ineffective physio) had a steroid injection which completely took the pain away...until recently I've noticed the issues returning.
My exercise mojo has waned slightly the last couple of months, but I'm getting back into my usual routine of yoga and strength training, which I'm hoping will help, plus monthly sports massages that focus on the shoulders (they're done by a physio, so he gives me advice at the same time).
Clearly there's something about the way I perform my normal daily tasks that is causing these issues (FT stressful job, staring at a screen all day, no doubt hunched over), and I was thinking I probably need to retrain my posture and how I work and move during the day to assist.
I wondered if the Alexander Technique might help and wondered if anyone had any experience? Or anything else that helped you fix recurrent rotator cuff problems? Or maybe I should just keep having steroid injections when it flares up again?
