What's my pan?

Took the kids to an attraction at the weekend and they had a panning for "gold" section. They had a great time, so I would like to set it up at home with some play sand and a tub. But I have no idea what this pan is. An image search is bringing up flour sieve as the sand is confusing it. Real gold panning pans don't seem to have holes.

Does anyone know what the pan in the picture is?

What's my pan?

I don't, but can't you use one of those sieve things that comes with a bucket and spade set? That's the same thing essentially.

If you Google 'sand sieve toy' it brings them up.

It needs to have very small holes, so i think those would be too big? Even fake gold (iron pyrite fragments) adds up in price if I need to buy big pieces.

The holes in a sand sieve are very small, definitely the same size of smaller than the ones in your picture. They're designed for sieving sand, which is exactly what you want so the holes are designed to let sand through but not other stuff!
