Snacks for toddler

My DNephew is coming over today and I’m minding him alone for a good part of it. Parents are doing spring cleaning.

He was with my DM and I was there yesterday.

His appetite is a bit limited, will eat a meal though. He constantly asks for biscuits. DM gave him a banana which he ate but he refused a baby bel. He does like some fruit. Loves hard boiled eggs. Don’t think he’d like pepperami or quorn picnic eggs and former a bit salty for him anyway. Maybe would try hummus. He likes cake but that’s a treat obvs.

Suggestions for other snacks for him please. Lunch will prob be cheese on toast with baked beans. That’s ok isn’t it? BTW he’s 2 and a half. Still loves his milk a lot but they’re trying to reduce that (he calls it mop!).

I make one thick pancake in a small frying pan then slice it like a pizza so “pancake triangles”

I’d life easy and do a baby grazing board - cucumber sticks, pepper sticks, hard boiled egg slices, pitta bread strips, fruit, ham.

He might just not be terribly hungry; sounds as if he is eating good things when he eats. A bit of cake or a biscuit is fine; it doesn't have to be 'a treat' just something in moderation. Cut up veg as @PigglyWiggle says; ham, cheese other than a babybel. Mine loved crackers spread with soft cheese at this age, or soft cheese with things to dip in it (it's less salty than a hard cheese which might be an issue if he's had salty cheese and beans with salt added for lunch, though frankly I would not have noticed or cared about this unless it was someone else's child). Apple wedges to dip in hummus are nice.
