Please advise me on the best treatment cream for this. I’m finding it hard to go to the toilet and despite my high fibre diet I’m not getting much relief

Suppositories. They are very slippery so not stressful to use. Apparently the gp can prescribe a stronger dream which was going to be my next step but the suppositories worked well so I didn't need to.

Anusol cream and / or suppositories and if they don’t work you can get Scheriproct prescribed.

Use both cream and suppositories - makes it much easier to manage.

As above - Anusol or Germaloids, from any pharmacy, supermarket or Amazon.

Do you get them often? I had reoccurring internal hemorrhoids for 10 years, got a referral from the doctor to have them banded (it wasn't nearly as horrendous as it sounds). It has been soooo much better since, definitely worth it. I still have the odd external ones but they're much more manageable to treat

No I’ve never had them and I’m not in pain by I’m finding it hard to pass stools. I eat well with lots of fibre so it’s not a constipation issue it just feels like an obstruction in my back passage

If you've never had them before, and i assume haven't been diagnosed at the GP (as you've not been prescribed anything), please please go and get checked out. You'll get a better treatment, but it's also always worth checking any weird bowel symptoms out just in case there's something else at play.
