Low temps - no other symptoms

I keep getting low temps ranging from 36c to as low as 34.7c. 35.4 seems to be the most common.

This has been happening for a couple of weeks, I’ve used different thermometers and tested on the family who all get 36.5-37c each time. Maybe once a day it’s nearly in the correct range. I’m probably getting a bit worried, hence doing it so often. I’m not cold, it’s actually reads more normal when I do feel cold tbh.

I don’t want to waste the doctor’s time, it might be nearer normal when I go in. The only other thing going on is more fatigued than usual. I’m likely in perimenopause atm, maybe related??

So my questions are:
Has anyone experienced this?
Would it be reasonable or a waste of time going to the doctors? Sod’s Law it would be a more normal reading when I go.

Can you tell I hate going to the doctors?!

Thank you

My old neighbour had that, there is actually an old term of yesteryear known as 'slither heart' or to be snake-like. Some people are just cold blooded

I’m experiencing some thing similiar. I may mention it to the GP this week. I have found one ear always gives a much lower temp than the other.

That's incredible as I have one ear always hotter then the other

It could be a few things.
Presuming you’re using a tympanic (ear) thermometer it might just be that you have narrow, bent or waxy ear canals so it cannot get a true reading. This is why people get different readings in each ear. The warmer side is usually more accurate.
Anaemia can cause low body temp but in my personal experience I felt really cold and tired when I was anaemic.

That’s interesting as I do feel cold all the time and tired. I would climb inside the oven to keep warm if I could.
