We have booked Disneyland Paris and Paris city for a holiday in early august…and only now I’m thinking will it be too hot? Anyone else been around that time of year? Thanks

I've been in August a couple of times, although several years ago, and it was fine. Paris is not too hot unless there is a heatwave and heatwaves have been more common in the past few years.

We went last year in August and it was hotter than the sun…! 3 readheads….. We spent a lot of time on the top deck of the open top buses or by the river to get some breeze. We managed 10 hours at Disney.. it was doable but very sweaty! Would not have survived without aircon in the hotel

It can't be worse than Orlando! You just have to be prepared. Lots of rest breaks and walks in air conditioned buildings! Make sure your accommodation has air con too. Lots to drink. Cooling towels are great. Disney Paris is so much easier to get back to hotel through day as lots in easy walking distance (depending on ages of children). Hotel with a pool is recommended. Then you can chill out in middle of day and do parks on a morning and finish off early evening.
