Using kitchen drawer units in a bedroom instead of standard furniture?

Has anyone here used kitchen drawers in a bedroom, instead of 'bedroom' furniture?

Im looking to 'drawers' around 370cm

Would kitchen drawers work or is this bonkers

First question is why? Do you have some spare? They usually look very kitcheny, and if they are the built in one then what about the sides it are you planning a run? Second thing is they tend to be quite deep.

We have a set of 4 drawers in the kitchen which was what made me think.

They dont look that much different to built in bedroom furniture. We can do deep, thats not a problem at all

I don't think it would be for me because I'm not wild about built-in in the bedroom. Got some from IKEA and regret it. It just looks too utilitarian and the drawers are too deep, I keep losing t-shirts at the back.
Kitchen cupboards tend to be built for constant wiping down, and they can look a bit plasticky iyswim. Bedroom furniture trends to have a nice finish, with natural wood.
But that's me. If the size and the look suits you then go for it, I'm a big believer in doing it for yourself, not for what other people think!

A kitchen drawer unit would still need to have a top fitted and usually the plastic legs would be covered with a kickboard. I think you are giving yourself lots of extra work to end up with a cobbled together look.

We have kitchen units in our bedroom (it's a loft conversion and the 'walls' are not tall enough for most bedroom units.) They were fitted by a well-known kitchen fitter and look very good.
We have a white 'worktop', drawer units with different depth drawers, a couple of corner units which are perfect for storing bulky duvets etc and no one has ever asked if they are kitchen units.

Buy decent units and get them fitted by someone who knows what they are doing.

I really don’t like built in bedroom furniture, so I wouldn’t.

Similar with my daughter's attic bedroom (she chose to be up there - says she can pretend she's not with the rest of us). It's not something I would have picked but it's functional and she's turned it into a makeup station with a beauty bar type stool and ridiculously overpriced mirror and loves it.
