Turkey, but with a town?

There’s things on here that MN hates, and I know it’s close to ‘the war’ but just go along with me if you will

I like a Big All Inclusive Turkish Resort, I like the facilities, the pools etc, but I don’t like that in some of them you have to spend your entire holiday there because they are in the middle of absolutely nowhere!

Where would you recommend that is a combination of one of the big 5* resort hotels, but also has a town/restaurants/promenade/shops/something that you can go out to in the evening? Side? Belek? Somewhere else?

Side is beautiful. Really stunning and lots to for in the evening. Belek
nowhere near as lovely.

belek has the very fanciest hotels but Side has many 5 star ultra all inclusive. Recommend Barut Hemera

Turgutreis has a number of large all inclusive on the outskirts of the town. Town has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Visited Dalyan for the first time last year. Loved the town. Not sure if there are all inclusive hotels but worth a look.
Have stayed at a couple of hotels in Belek. They were amazing but tbh we never left the hotel as they were quite isolated. We knew that before visiting and were quite happy for the week not leaving the site.

Side is lovely. We stayed at Side Star Elegance. HUGE hotel. Right on a prom that you can wander along. Has cafes near the pool and beach that have a daily menu to order from so you're not just at the buffet everyday for lunch.

We jumped on the Dolmus right outside the hotel into Side old town which is gorgeous - they have a glass floor over some of the old ruins

Reason 136225 why I love MN, this is exactly the type of info I’m looking for - thank you!
