Pcos, belly fat and Audhd

I seriously lack motivation to do any sort of exercise, I have good intentions but it always goes out the window !

I’m 5.4 and weigh 11.5stone, I have pcos so all my weight goes on my stomach and I absolutely hate myself right now. I’ve had 2 children very close together so have double the baby belly to shift.
I’ve no idea where to start. My diet isn’t bad at all, apart from the odd chocolate binge at night 😳
I’m on the go all day, barely sit down, I walk into town most days. But this belly fat is so stubborn it will not shift, I don’t get any heavier but I don’t get any lighter either ! I need an exercise routine, I don’t know what exercises I need to be doing though ? Can anyone help?

Forgot to add - I’ve had two c sections so have an overhang. I’m always bloated, like all the time, and my core is broken.

Pilates and yoga. Id go to a class first so you get alignments correct and someone can watch you then get the gear and switch to home untibe video ..if you want !
Re belly hand not sure I have that.

I’ve also got pcos and the same problem although I’m much heavier than you. I’ve been using Caroline Girvan and it’s definitely helping. I pay about £10 a month for her app and followed her beginners programme which teaches you correct form for each movement. I’ve then carried on doing her other programmes and would definitely recommend

I can very much relate. I think you really need to quit sugar all together, up your protein and water.
I do these things and the bloating and belly has gone down a lot but I also have a low dose of the weight loss jab as it helps with the PCOS and with sugar cravings and blood sugar.

The only exercise I do is walking daily and some light weights.

First take inositol if you aren't already. It takes months to notice a change and it won't cure you but just gives you an edge to help. It helps your body become sensitive to insulin again, and therefore helps break the high insulin - high testosterone cycle.

Follow a PCOS diet. Basically pcos is a blood sugar problem, so it's a low GI type diet. Google for more details.

If you want to actually lose weight, make sure you're in a calorie deficit as well.

Any exercise is good for pcos, and for everyone of course. But the inositol and diet are the key changes.

Thanks for the replies. So I actually worked out yesterday 😳 I was out of breath but I did it and felt great for it afterwards.

Thanks. I forgot to mention I’m prescribed metformin for my pcos so I think inositol is similar?
