Can you shiver without a fever

This morning I felt super bloated and burpy, this evening headache and I am so cold, my skin is really sensitive to anything cold, my sides are all achey, but I have a normal temperature? What’s that all about ? I feel so so shit, never been so cold.
The kids have had a sickness bug, affecting dd2 worse than dd1 and she’s been lying on dh all day because I feel too shit to comfort her.

You can be sick without having a fever, and it’s not outside the realm of possibility that you might be shivery without a fever.

Also what’s your normal temp? Mine is around 36.4-36.6. If I take it and it’s 37.5, I will definitely feel shivery, because for me, that’s high.

Mines usually around 37.5 and it’s been that pretty much all day. The fever has kicked in now, 38.5 so high for me. Just so weird how the shivering has been going on first !

Yes, I often shiver when I'm tired and run down. I say I'm dithery when I get like that.

Wish it was that, I feel really rotten now. I never usually get ill, whatever this is must be a nasty one

I've had a life long problem (I prefer the word 'issue') where I shiver whilst passing water. Very rarely do I shiver any other time but urinating is almost a certainty. My 2 bathrooms are protected but I have ruined many floorings over the past 20 years (all of which I have paid for)

That is a fever. Your body is raising its set temp in response to illness.you feel cold because of the temp difference. You likely will feel hot later/soon. Get hydrated and get to bed. 💐
