I need to get a job. Youngest starts reception in September.

That six months will fly by. I’ll be lonely and lazy.

Guess I need to get a job but I fear I’m unemployable.

If you can afford it take a bit of time.

it takes a while to settle them in and the process of job hunting is also quite time consuming.

i did a pgce while one of mine was in reception and it was very demanding.

you have a lot of skills if previously a PA/EA.

I'd definitely look at virtual PA roles, that way you can manage your own time and work hours.

Also breakfast club leaders / afterschool club normally offer free or heavily discounted cost for your own children.

With the kids at private school I doubt it’ll be worth schlepping along to the breakfast club every morning at 7am!

OP look for something exciting. Sitting around describing yourself as brain dead and refusing to use clubs or childcare is a recipe for disaster.
