Anyone running a business on SM?

A bit of an odd one, not sure I'm posting in the right place.

I've got a page on Meta where over the last couple of months I've been posting reels of my town and surroundings, about 5 a week. It has been a hobby that I really loved. I only have about 3400 followers but some of my most successful videos got over 40k views (one over 150k views).

Today I've been approached by a business who are asking me if I'm interested in making a few 30 secs reels for them, promoting their presence in the town and also regularly filming and providing reels about the town and the place where their business is located.

They are asking me how much would I charge for this service. I haven't got any idea. I've not monetised my page before but I'm open to it if course.

Anyone has any advice? 🙏

Firstly decide on your hourly rate, then how long it would take you to make the video. Think travel time, filming, editing… I’m not experienced in this to know what involved. As it’s your first, and may take you longer due to inexperience, I wouldn’t make the hourly rate too high. (£25-£30?) . You can increase your rate as you get more experienced . if it takes off, you will need to register as self employed, if your business makes over £1000 a year (trading allowance). Also think about business insurance.
