Pain in the bottom of my feet / soles?

I am starting to get a bit worried about what’s going on with my feet. For over a week now they’ve been painful - like if I push down on them they ache. They also feel tingly and itchy. No sign of athlete’s foot. Have requested an appointment with my GP but I am not hopeful. Anyone ever had this and if so how did you get rid of it?!

Is it worse in the morning?
Look up plantar fascitis and see if that describes it.

I think it could well be that - so painful 😢

Plantar fasciitis is agony and I got it after wearing very flat shoes and long walk. It is worse after resting and sleep but it can taken 30 minutes or more for me to be able to stand. Rolling your feet in a cold can help. You can get traction socks that help pull you feet back into alignment that worked for a friend but not me

Look up exercises to do. It's an inflammation of the band of tissue underneath your foot - it can take a long time to heal. I've had a particularly long flare up recently and it's still ouchy to stand if i''ve been sitting down. Have seen a physio who sent me away with exercises.

Ugh plantar fascitis. Fitflop trainers cured mine (eventually).

I've just recovered from plantar fasciitis. I rubbed voltarol into my heel twice a day and took turmeric capsules and cod liver oil capsules as advised by a sports therapist, but to be honest I think it just went away eventually, it took five months to go away. I believe I caused it by wearing flat shoes all summer. I now wear arch support insoles all the time - bought them on amazon.

As we age or put on weight or overdo it in flatter than normal shoes, our feet go flatter and this pulls on the plantar fascia which is the ligament that basically makes up the sole of your foot.

I found wearing arch inserts helped and I added more height to the arch with sticky bandages etc and raised it high enough to take the pressure off and allow it to heal. It still took 18 months to go away though as it all has a really low blood supply by comparison.
