Quite, and one of my friends also had a surprise natural pregnancy at 47. But most would agree that a natural pregnancy at that age is outside the norm, though assisted pregnancies are perfectly achievable for many (though why a mother of 5 would want another child at that age is beyond me).

Those poor kids (the real ones, not the dolls). I remember seeing that horrible footage of their step mother being awful to them after their mum lost custody because of her drug habit. I desperately hope they're safe with family (or even at a kind boarding school - I work at a lovely boarding school, and it's a million miles away from what people imagine).

Nobody is disputing that otherwise fit and healthy women can conceive in their mid-late forties. Of course they can, but if you look at KP and think she is any way fit and healthy then you need your eyes testing. She looks like she could drop dead any day now, which is not generally conducive to getting pregnant. She is physically very unwell, she can’t see it and nobody is helping her. It’s actually bloody tragic!
