Feb half term

I find this the hardest half term of the year. Mine are a bit older now Year5 & Year 7, but still have to have some activities otherwise the screen will over take!
We have a dog , so muddy dog walks will be compulsory. Ds (9) has a birthday party one day, I'm working 2 days (1 is the party day) so we still have a few days to fill. Dd12 is meeting friends for a few hours 1 day. So I'm looking at swimming, trampolining, cinema (but not much on). What's everyone else up to?

We’re on half term not next week but the week after and I’m praying the weather improves by then!

I’m dragging mine to ikea (including the teens)! They’ll appreciate the meatballs if nothing else!

I've booked some ice skating lessons- will give it a go.

Also gonna get the older one to tutor the younger one to tey and improve her communication skills.

Apart from this going to try and go on a few walks- but weather seems terrible.

Might go library one day

Mine are Y7 and Y3 and we've got a plan for most days next week. Some free/cheap stuff (library, seeing a friend, swimming) and some more expensive (cat cafe, pottery painting, cinema). Neither of mine want to see their school friends, they just want to potter about and do things together! They miss each other now they're at different schools.

We didn't do anything at all over the Christmas holidays and we'll do a lot of free, outside stuff over Easter/May half term/Summer holidays (parks, woods, geocaching etc) so I'm happy to take the hit in Feb. There will also be a lot of time at home, screens included!

Yup it's crap
I refuse to take time off on this one
Ours are 9 and 14
The older one will meet friends at some point
In-laws have them for baking Monday
Tuesday and Thursday the youngest one at holiday club
Wednesday they're home but will need to walk dog to break up day
Friday I don't work so will take them out somewhere
One has a bday party too

They're going to be too many screens I expect but figure it'll balance out
