Pre habilitation for an op - which yoga app?

I’ve got to have surgery on my abdomen in about 6 weeks. It will be keyhole but is serious surgery. I’ve been told to prehab - get as fit as I can to help recovery. I’ve been given a gym appointment for weights cardio etc.
I want to improve my balance so want a yoga, t’ai chi app. I don’t want some 25 year old who weights 6 stone wet through, wearing pink Lycra and smiling an ultra violet smile, who is being ‘perky’ and enthusiastic. I’m too old for that.
I want a gentle, grown up, sensible person telling me what to do calmly but pleasantly.

Does this app exist?

Also, lots of apps want me to fork out with no ‘try before you buy’. I’m happy to pay for a good product people have worked to create but I would appreciate a view of one session at least and then I’d be more than happy to pay for the right app.

I've posted in chat to catch the casually fit type of person.

Want a 60 day free peloton app trial? Different instructors to pick from, you can do a programme like the photo or just pick classes
you’ve got yoga, Pilates, mobility, weights, outdoor cardio, walks, indoor cardio, bodyweight exercises, meditation….

Have a look at Will Harlow on You Tube. Gentle but rewarding exercises

I like the FitOn app- there’s a lot of free content and they have a prehab/mobility section with guided exercise from physiotherapists so hopefully there’d be something suitable.

There are loads of free videos on YouTube. You can look around and find someone you like. I like Sara Beth yoga.

I also love the downdog yoga app. I think it's £35 a year. You input loads of choices like what voice you like, music, what areas of the body you want to concentrate on, what type of yoga (eg cardio, fast, slow, gentle, traditional) and how long you want to do etc and it creates a workout for you. Its great as it means you can do something different every time and not get bored.

I also love LesMills. I don't know how much it costs as I get it through work but they have all sorts of workouts including yoga, pilates, HIIT, bodypump, weightlifting etc. Etc.

Rereading your OP Les Mills will be too perky for you! Sara Beth or DownDog would be good though.

I'm a bit concerned that you've been asked to do this.

How fit do they want you to be?

are you already doing stuff? I was going to suggest Les Mills, but I got some sort of promotion so it's less than £15 a month. I don't know what the normal price is.

they have balance and core workouts as part of a huge selection

What about pilates?
I use Move with Nicole on YouTube. It's free.
