Disabled UK resident travelling by train through Switzerland

Can anyone guide me to getting discounted rail travel in Switzerland.

I have epilepsy. I have a UK rail card and do not claim PIP . From what I have read so far I wouldn’t get any discount on travel.

However, my daughter has intellectual disability (that meets the criteria) has a UK disabled person rail card and is awarded PIP at the enhanced rate for care and mobility. I think either she or an essential companion would get a discount.

As we go in a week , this is very last minute. Am I better to buy tickets without discount which I think will be cheaper than rocking up to the train station on the day. Or do I present our documents to the Swiss ticket office in Zurich and hope for a better price than on line.

In total we would be a party of 4 adults. Although for the purposes of Swiss rail we are 2 x seniors, 1 x youth and 1 x adult

I‘ve just done an AI search in German and the result (which of course is about as reliable or unreliable as any other AI) is that with your British disability ID you could potentially get a discount for journeys to/from Switzerland, but not for trips purely within the country. There is seemingly no obligation to recognise international documents - which is understandable, as otherwise it might be too easy to forge certificates etc.
That suggests it might be best to book in advance without trying for a discount on the spot, but obviously I don’t know that for sure. What about if you send a message or email to the SBB tomorrow to check? They will most likely speak English.
