Do you think 2 nights in London is enough ?

Looking for a weekend break for me and partner.
Travelling from near Newcastle.
We haven’t been to London in a year so this is a option.
Do you think 2 nights is enough for London?
Due to work commitments we wouldn’t be arriving till 8pm Friday and leaving 2pm Sunday …
Any fun things to do ?
Last year we went to see wicked and did the usual Buckingham palace etc

Anyone recommend anything to do if we go ?

There are lots of fun things to do 😊

Some will be free and some will be £££

lt will depend on your budget.

You can have an amazing time. So many options depending on what you like and where you’re staying. Eg

Saturday: Tate Modern then river boat to Greenwich for a mooch, dinner more central
Sunday: brunch and explore Spitalfields and Columbia Road markets

I live in London and haven't done it all but 2 nights should be fun especially with the fast train from Newcastle.
What sort of things do you like doing?

Depending on the cost I would wait and invest it in a longer break as there is sooooo much to do. I like staying 3 nights minimum.

However, I reglarly pass through and get just one night there. One whole evening and the following morning. And I love that. I pick a last minute show up at about 4pm on my way there for that night, prebook a hotel, and meet a business colleague the following morning at an art gallery! Makes the long trip Im doing so much better.

No, it was a while ago, but I'd have found it online. I also used to love the walks with Walks.com, you learn so much, but at the time they didn't do the graffiti tour.

I think we are going to stay around King’s Cross area and then we can just get the tube around.
Well it will be 1 full day and then till 2pm sunday
I love the buzz of London

There's a canal boat ride from King's Cross to Camden Lock. I think it goes all the way to Little Venice and back. You can book a single journey, or return. It's fun and you see London from a different perspective.

The area round the back of Kings Cross has all been done up - Coal Drops

You're also in walking distance of a lot of great museums depending what you're into. Wellcome Collection, British Museum etc. Sir John Soanes in Lincoln's Inn is small and a bit different and they do candlelight tours sometimes.

Could go up to Highgate Cemetery and do the tour and also a nice area to look around.

Bus route 9 goes past loads of sites if you want a quick tour cheaply
