Accomodation in Norwich

Anyone local? Looking to visit friends that live near longwater 13th-16th February and cannot decide on accomodation.

Reviews show the closest Premier Inn is OK but noisy because of the road. No paths to cross to longwater and walk to friends.

There's many options in the city center but that seems to be 20/30 minutes away.

Anyone know anywhere they'd recommend? Looking to spend up to £300

Edit: Me and two children

Will you have a car?

The bus service in Norwich is excellent, so if you wish to stay in the city you will have no problem getting to Longwater.

I will, but I'd prefer not to drive everywhere if i can avoid it.

About 5 minutes drive from Longwater is the Goat Shed at Honningham - it’s a really good farm shop/gift shop/eating place combo (with obvs goats, I suppose it’s a goat farm really but it’s branched out to include all of the above, to a very good standard).

They have accommodation too, but I haven’t investigated prices.

I really don't think there is a lot in that area because it's a mix of residential and retail. Could you ask the Premier Inn for a room away from the road?
