I wanted to just give a massive thank you to my local nhs hospital.
sudden excruciating pain Sunday evening in abdomen, like labour but worse- thorowing up bile over and over and over again due simply to pain. After a bit of a faff in a and e - just with how busy it was- my care has been exemplary.
its a gall bladder infection, had it out today.
The doctors have been wonderful and so caring, all the nurses here are a credit through the night and during the day. I was so scared of my first ever general and the last anesthetist sat with for 20 mins today while I sobbed and massively reassured me.
so caring in theatre too and after.
honestly considering the pressure they are under- I cannot complain at all- and I know NHS gets a lot of knocking but they have been wonderful :)
