I’ll try and keep this short ..

•irregular periods started in August this year, before this very regular.
• I’ve had 3 kids if that’s any relevance and my youngest has just turned 3.
• went 39 days without a period in November and then got my second period/bleeeing 10 days after that but only bled for 1.5 days. Then it stopped and started again the next day very minimally. (Never happened to me before)
• sore boobs
• dryness down below
• I’m 32 so surely not peri?

should I just wait and see if things settle down? Very confused!

I would say if you’re worried, and it’s unusual for you, there’s no harm in requesting an appointment. I’m sure it’s nothing serious - but it’s better to get get it checked than leave it and be wrong!

I was your age when I missed my first ever period and I was on the pill. Pregnancy test negative. I stopped the pill just in case and then fell pregnant that very same month. So it could be that’s an age where our bodies start to change.

Good luck!

I started hrt at 35 I missed my first period at 32. A blood test result said 'consistent with menopause' and I ran away buried my head in the sand until panic attacks set in and I couldn't cope anymore. It turns out I'm from a line of early menopausal women 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hmm my mum and maternal grandma started in their mid forties but maybe I could be not following that pattern!

Yes do contact your GP. Unlikely to be anything sinister, but they may do a few blood tests to check for unusual causes of change in menstrual pattern.
