Temporary Shower

So we are starting some building work in a couple of weeks and will be without a bathroom for roughly 2 weeks. We have a wc so toilet not an issue but having showers will be! So has anyone been in a similar situation and rented a Portable shower, if so would you recommend and roughly how much did it cost? Thanks x

An outside one? God that’ll be chilly! 🥶

You can get temporary baths but a shower would be tricky because if the drainage and the enclosed bit. I would use the shower at the gym or swimming pool or neighbours or friends or a cyclists shower at work or just have a flannel wash for a couple of weeks.

I made do with washing at the kitchen sink/wipes. When I washed my hair I leant over the sink, and had warm water on the side - I've got waist length hair and managed. Funnily enough it was just about this time last year. DH was ok as he went to the gym and he said I didn't smell.

We bought an excellent portable shower from Amazon which really was a great buy but we had our bathroom done in the summer and used it outside (in a private area, while wearing swimwear!). I actually loved it but probably not in January…

Yip an outside one like a Porto loo, but shower instead of a toilet. It’s connected to a gas cylinder to heat the water! I’m hoping the worst bit will be during half term so me and the kiddos with be heading to my parents
