Neutrogena is always good

Mamamia35 · 12/12/2025 14:50

Loccitane shea 20%

My mum had lupus and her skin was really sensitive but she started using loccitane shea as well and her hands were so much better.

Son with bad eczema who has tried lots says Palmers cocoa butter but the fragrance free one. Superdrug and asda sell it for about £5.

I have eczema and am allergic to fragrance. Every l’occitane cream (and lip balm) I’ve tried has made my skin red and itchy. See if you can try a sample or travel size first.

The Neutrogena balm for really dry skin - it’s like liquid Vaseline - really keeps my skin healthy in winter. Am also fine with the fragrance free palmers one, though need to apply more often. Aveeno hand cream is a good one too.

If I’m being gifted it, the Clarins hand cream feels lovely too.

L'occitane shea butter is the only thing that works on my hands. Nivea intensive repair comes in second but I need to apply it more frequently.

nursem! Super effective, available from Boots, developed by a nurse and they give a hand cream to an NHS worker for each one sold!

IggyAce · 12/12/2025 20:06

I use the Aldi dupe for neutrogena and it’s only 69p white tube with a red lid.

Misfiteverywhere · 12/12/2025 20:11

I use Aveeno and I’m allergic to a lot, particularly fragrance, but no problems with Aveeno

TheChosenTwo · 12/12/2025 20:11

Another vote for Nursem, I find it really
good for dry winter hands.

M&S Skin Kind from their sensitive skin range. Has a lovely consistency and works well.

Thanks all, a few to try. 🙂
