Replacing an oven for Christmas

Our oven has broken down and it looks unlikely to be fixed before Christmas. I'm looking at getting a temporary replacement and want something big enough to do a small turkey in and do mince pies and christmas biscuit type things. We do a lot of cooking and baking....

Should I be thinking of a mini oven, that I would probably try to sell or is it time to try a big airfryer?

Honestly, if you're cooking a turkey / Christmas lunch and various other things, I'd get the cheapest 'normal' single oven (£159 on AO) for the confidence that it will all cook properly.

I'm assuming you've got a big range / Aga, but hopefully you have space to plug in an oven somewhere. Full disclosure: although i have had an air fryer for a few years, i've never cooked a whole chicken in it, or cakes / pies. And I think a large air fryer would cost more than £159?

Yeah, I think it is probably safer to go for a single oven and figure out somewhere to put it.. the repair people are coming on the 20th but it is a bit too close for comfort!

Yes that would be a bit close for me! Knowing my luck they'd discover a part that's needed which is only available in February 😂
