Healthy Snack Ideas for Holiday

Off to Finnish Lapland and need to take EU appropriate but healthy snacks. My brain is frazzled from work/Christmas prep/illness and I’m drawing a blank of what I can pack! Crackers?

Why do you need to take snacks?

@boulevardofbrokendreamss its a long transfer from the meal on the plane until dinner, and both DS and I need to take medication with food.

What a weird question, I always take snacks when I'm travelling anywhere.

OP if you just need something to keep you going on the day you're travelling, I am a big fan of a cheese sandwich, they travel well and it doesn't matter if they get a wee bit squished.
Otherwise yep crackers or oatcakes, maybe some Babybel (see above re cheese), cereal bars, dried fruit (will be fine to take abroad in small sealed packets). You could also take cup a soups if you'll have a kettle and mugs/spoons at your accommodation.

Cheese sandwiches are a solid shout. Also oatcakes, rice cakes, nut butter sachets, and those little packets of olives if you're feeling fancy. Dried mango or apple slices travel well too.
Since you're going to Lapland, just avoid anything with fresh fruit or meat to keep EU customs happy. Sealed packaged stuff is fine.
As an expat, I've learned to always pack backup snacks when travelling back to the UK or Europe. I usually grab a few bits from McGrocer before I go. Proper cereal bars, mini cheddars, that kind of thing. Airport prices are a rip off.
