Ryeqo - has anyone tried this for endo?

I am in hell. Gynaecologist suggested it would work wonders for endometriosis in lieu of a laparoscopy which could take a couple of years. They think I probably have endometriosis with bladder and bowel involvement.

I started Ryeqo about 6-7 weeks ago … I’ve not stopped bleeding for longer than 4 days. It’s not light bleeding, it’s flooding, leaking, lillets maternity pads plus a tampon.

That and I’m incredibly sore - so am now on gabapentin, buscopan, cocodamol and naproxen just to function.

My GP is aware, said hasn’t heard of Ryeqo before but said to persist.

I’ve had bad reactions to northisterone before so suspect it’s that, and had the decapeptyl jabs 10 years ago and continued to bleed on them … so I don’t know.

I’m bloody scared to stop the tablets as surely that will make it even worse pain wise, and it’s only just controllable with the meds I’m on right now…

I’m having to take a week off work because of this, I ended up in tears with my manager on Monday as I said I’m so exhausted. I’m already severely anaemic (folate was 0.0001 or something).

honestly at this stage I’d pay to have the whole lot taken out.

Have they got you referred for a lap anyway? I muddled through with codeine, oramorph and be you period patches for a good 18 months then had my lap
they did an MRI so my lap was for excision rather than diagnostic but it ended up being over 8hrs in theatre

I also had a mirena fitted during the lap to control the endo after and it’s been miraculous

"My GP is aware, said hasn’t heard of Ryeqo before but said to persist."

Why did he say to persist? And why is he even giving advice on something he knows nothing about? What does the gynaecologist say or can't you see them? I wouldn't continue with something like this, but then I don't know what your situation was like before taking the Ryeqo.

(I have been told I may need to have it for my fibroids).
