Sleeping with electric throw blanket

My boyfriend has fallen asleep on sofa, it’s 1am. He’s fast asleep so I’ve put the electric throw blanket over him, it’s on highest temp (but not too hot I don’t think); will he be ok or do I need to go turn it off? It’s bloody freezing downstairs and we have wood flooring and crappy drafty windows. I’m at work at 7am and I’m sure the baby will be awake soon (I’ll be up with her rest of night until I leave at 645) so thought I’d let him have some sleep before I hand her over.

It will be fine; i sleep with one 200 days of the year. Kind of you to think about it.

What are you concerned about? That it could start a fire? That it'll get too hot for him? That'll be too cold for him?
Unless the blanket is very old or frayed or worn, you probably don't need to worry about it starting a fire... I'm sure he won't get so hot that he'll be uncomfortable but if he does he'll wake up... I'm sure he won't get so cold that he'll be uncomfortable but if he does, he'll wake up.
It's very nice of you to be concerned about his comfort and safety.
Hopefully he'll be well rested when it comes time to hand over the baby.

Just worried it will burn him or he’ll
overheat. I’m an overly anxious person.

I slept with a duvet and heated throw on top every night for two months last winter due to having pneumonia.
I did worry at first having it on all night but it was so warm and cosy and absolutely fine!

Some have a safety feature that they cut out after X time.

It's fine. I do it most nights.
