What are you getting your DP for Christmas? (Shamelessly posting so I can steal your ideas!)

I have no idea what to get him this year. His hobby (cycling) has lapsed due to poor health. He's put on weight due to it so nothing snacky. He does like cooking so maybe a kitchen gadget, but he does seem to have everything I can think of! I've given him experience days for things he enjoys in the past. I'm all out of ideas so I'm shamelessly asking what you are giving your DP in the hope that I will get some inspiration. Ta everso 🎁

We really don't do Xmas presents much as DH dislikes the environmental impact and consumerism etc. so I'm just getting him a T-shirt from his favourite obscure band off Vinted and The Cube board game from a charity shop which I think he'll love.

I think we share the same man 😅😅

I've bought him a cheese subscription.

Nothing. We haven't done adult presents for years. Will try and book a babysitter to get out for a meal in Jan maybe. Far nicer having experiences than trying to come up with a list of physical stuff neither of us really wants just for the sake of it.

He has asked for new slippers.

I have also bought a Japanese garden secateurs thingie I saw recommended on here and a fancy trowel.

Will also get a couple of books, wine gums, a bottle of whisky and a Terry’s chocolate orange.

He also needs some new clothes as he’s lost weight although says that just means old stuff now fits him. He needs new track suit pants and some trainers too.

Clothes, a couple of expensive bottles of his favourite booze, a couple of books he's asked for, pretty boring really. No inspiration here this year either.

I guess we tend to buy things we would probably have bought anyway, clothes and consumables, maybe all a bit nicer than you would have bought yourself, so often very unexciting things, but at least not junk headed straight for the bin.
