Mattress recommendations - Emma?

We need a new mattress as our current one is way over due for renewal....

We have just happened to stay away recently for a weekend, and we had the best sleep ever.

The mattress & topper were 'Emma'.

Is this a brand you would recommend or was the good night sleep due to just getting away from normality?

Any feedback would be grateful xx

I absolutely hated mine and got rid of it after 3 years. Both sides dipped so we were rolling out the bed and it was roasting. My hips ached every day.

Ours is a slumberland and is like sleeping on a cloud but firm enough not to have back pain. I could live in it!

You can tell how thick it is, almost two lengths of my hand. It’s dreamy.

We have an Emma mattress and topper and we absolutely love them!! When I go away anywhere I always crave getting back to my own lovely bed. Ours has stayed nice and firm, no dipping as a previous poster mentioned.

If you slept on one and liked it then I would go for it. They have a trial and if you find you don't get on with it then you can send it back and get your money back.

Heeeelllllll no to Emma, unless you like sleeping in a dip, having a ridge up the centre and having to rotate it every two weeks.

I like traditional sprung mattresses. I have had mine for nearly 20 years and it still looks and feel like brand new.

My Emma mattress is fine. It's coming up to 6 years old and no complaints at all.

MagpiePi · 01/12/2025 18:02

I bought an Emma about 6 months ago and even though it was the softest one it was still like a board. It is ok with a good thick topper on, but that kind of defeats the object imo.

Dontbeatwat · 01/12/2025 18:02

I love my Emma! It's 4 years old and not dipped at all. I think I've only rotated it once too.

Thank you guys x

We love our Emma. It is about to 5 or 6 years old and shows no signs of wear. No dips and it's super comfortable.

Could you tell me the details, please? Or post a pic of the label, even better.
TIA. 🙏

I got the premier inn one and have found it good value for money. The topper was included and the only thing that annoys me is the fitted sheet rides up and gets caught between the topper and mattress
