Skincare and makeup products you swear by?

Really want to up my self care game, so specifically looking for recommendations for an eye cream, something to gently exfoliate the skin (face & body), a face serum and hoping to talk myself out of purchasing a face led mask because they are very expensive!

My skin can break out if products are heavily scented/too harsh. I’d say I have dry skin in need of a deep cleanse (perhaps a good few sheet face masks?) and I’d love to get rid of random red marks that are under the skin which never really go away - hence looking into the led masks!

Also need to replenish some makeup bits but there are SO many options it’s actually quite overwhelming. Not into heavy foundation these days but I’d like a good concealer, the wonderskin lip tint looks like it’d be worth trying and a new blush.

I’ve found Caudalie skincare to be consistently good.

For a natural flush for lips and cheeks, Violette FR Bijoux Balm and Merit Cheek Balm. Both are natural looking, very easy to use and hard to over do!

Clarins for me. I have eczema and sensitive skin and struggled for years trying different brands. To my immense surprise despite being perfumed all clarins products seem to suit me and they are all divine in their textures and scents. So my skin has now settled down. Not cheap but bargains at outlets. I also love that there’s such a wide range.

I find a niacinamide serum good for redness under the skin. Both The ordinary and Inkey List do a good, well priced one. It’s worth having a look through both their ranges for options - they’re so well priced you can try a few things out.

The skin around my eyes in sensitive, so I use a Cetaphil eye cream, which does the job. Caffeine serum helps with any dark circles.

I still haven’t found anything better than Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream for an overnight moisture boost.
