Has anyone got a really good office chair that stops or helps to stop them getting back pain? Thank you

I have one that I got through Access to Work following an assessment. I was on my fourth so-called ergonomic chair. I’ll try to find the name.

RH Logic 300

I have a Herman Miller Sayl chair. Expensive, but well designed. Not an official ergonomic chair though.

any chair with adjustable height and lumbar support will do. most chairs sold as office chairs do

more important not to sit too long but go get up for some gentle exercises every hour.

Can’t recommend a specific brand as I don’t live in UK but I got a really good gaming chair. I figured gamers spend a lot of time sitting down and the one I got is extra wide with lots of adjustments and very comfortable.

I’ve also recently got an electric sit/stand desk and really recommend that too. I’ve had back issues for 20+ years and sitting isn’t my friend

I would suggest a standing desk. My lower back is ruined after decades of sitting at a desk. I worked in an inwards good department where we didn't sit at all and I could lift heavy boxes with no pain at all, simply because I never sat.

I have an awful back pain and an ergonomic chair. But no chair is best. No pain ! (They say sitting job is worse than smoking 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Regular stretching and exercise is pretty important. The nhs has videos of the exercises needed to reduce back pain and they work.

This is not correct. I cannot use the standard chairs in my office despite them having these features, I also advise against mesh backs- they dont provide firm enough support.
I think i have the RH logic 300 or similar and it is good.
