West Yorkshire here.. had a very faint scattering early hours...but by gosh it's flaming freezing..heating came on at 7am and hasn't gone off... even got my fingerless mittens on that l knitted. Yesterday l went to a huge hall/ garden centre/ farm shop/ restaurant/ Christmas shop.. when going outside it was bitter cold.. luckily was plenty to do inside... and had a fabulous time with my oldest school friend who l have known for 56 years and we get together once a month. I crossed over the border from West Yorkshire to South Yorkshire and honestly seemed more colder in South Yorkshire..( Maybe nearer to the Pennines?).

Manchester, its freezing cold .
I was outside at about 10am blue sky and very bright sun but within minutes it clouded over and the temp dropped like a stone.
I had my rechargeable hard warmers with me and I was sooooopo glad !

JabbyMcJabFace16 · 19/11/2025 21:13

It hasn’t gone above “feels like” 0° today. So in my mind it’s freezing, because if it feels like it it must.

im freezing. I had three layers on today and it didn’t feel like enough. No snow but ok down south so even if it snowed, it wouldn’t settle.

RosesAndHellebores · 19/11/2025 21:16

London/Surrey borders. Brrrr. About 1°. We had a flurry of sleety snow this morning. Very glad I planted my pansies and polys yesterday.

swimsong · 19/11/2025 22:07

Yorkshire coast - it's all sleet but it's building to a few inches on the ground. Not very good cold though, not in the pub anyway.

deste · 19/11/2025 22:15

NE of Scotland and its been snowing off and on all day. At the moment its like a winter wonderland.

SpottyAardvark · 19/11/2025 22:18

No snow here in Leicestershire but with the temperature around -1C & a strong northerly wind it feels like the first cold snap of the season.

It winter. It happens every year. Dress appropriately & get on with it.

Runnersandtoms · 19/11/2025 22:20

North Kent coast so no, we hardly ever get any. Dd in Bath had sleet /snow/ freezing today.

Magicmagician · 19/11/2025 22:24

South wales and no snow where I am and not that cold out today, bright and sunny (though looking at forecast it’s due to drop below 0 overnight) - haven’t looked at the news today so hadn’t realised people have snow til reading this thread!

Taytocrisps · 19/11/2025 22:27

It's -1 degree at present and expected to drop lower here in Ireland. There are snow and ice warnings for several counties, but not mine. I expect we'll get a sharp frost though.

Arlanymor · 19/11/2025 22:31

South West Wales - chilly out but not freezing, one degree. I live by the sea so snow is unusual but weather.com tells me it will be snowing at 23:15 - we'll see, I went out for dinner tonight and will be walking home in it if so!

TheBeaTgoeson1 · 19/11/2025 22:31

North.

We had a lot of snow fall in the space of half an hour at about 8 this morning, but it promptly then started to rain and turned the whole lot to slush. It was gone altogether soon after.

It is pretty chilly now, our outdoors-loving cat went out just now, and asked to come back in after a couple of minutes. He usually insists on being out all night but he doesn't want to, so it is definitely cold out there. We are forecast -3 overnight I think.

So jealous of every one mentioning Yorkshire. Me and my OH love the place and will move there one day. Dream is to live in the Dales.

My sister used to live in Kirkby Londsdale.. it's beautiful.. Now she's near the North York Moors.

Snow on the hills in Perth. Heating on first time this year, ~5 predicted this evening. We’re not bothered but cars would be 😄

feellikeanalien · 19/11/2025 23:34

We had a lot here in Northumberland but we're quite high up. Went out this evening about 40 minutes away and they had none.

MrsSkylerWhite · 19/11/2025 23:35

Cats, not cars!

MySilentLions · 20/11/2025 00:42

Yes we have snow. First lot fell yesterday (Tuesday) quite a lot more today. It’s currently minus 1 but real feel on weather app is minus 10.
First time this year leaving heating on all day and night to make sure the pipes are ok and don’t freeze.
North Scotland.

My sister lives in Pickering.. she's loads and the road to Whitby is horrendous now.

Ooh I love Pickering, I can imagine how bad it would be over the Moors, making me shiver just thinking about it 😁

EasternStandard · 20/11/2025 15:58

No snow 4 degrees feels like 1

Nobody said they weren’t “getting on with it” Hmm preach off

the80sweregreat · 20/11/2025 19:32

I used to loath walking a mile to school in the snow and they never ever shut! It was horrible.
It didn’t build any resilience for me only resentment that the teachers could get in so we had to ! Lol

Queenage · 20/11/2025 19:33

So much snow today, traffic chaos. Gross weather

chilliheeler123 · 20/11/2025 19:37

No snow in my part of Kent. 4 degrees, weather app says feels like -5! The wind is very cold.

My bedroom thermometer says 12 degrees, I’ve had to put the little portable heater on as well as the central heating to warm the room up a bit before I can bring myself to have a shower!

Beautiful sunny day on the rural west coast of Scotland (about an hour west of Glasgow).

We're literally at sea level - we live beside a loch! - so no snow, but I can see snow on the hills from the window.

Very cold - slightly above freezing at 6pm. Both open fires are lit and the heating is on!

Goodness that sounds gorgeous x

EmeraldDreams73 · 20/11/2025 19:43

Devon here, no snow but bloody freezing - first hard frost this morning, and below 0⁰ again now. Windy too.
