E-reader for someone with sight problem

My mum is 78 and her eyesight is deterioating. One of the great pleasures in her life is reading.

She’s had.a Kindle for a few years and loves how light it is (her hands are a little arthritic) and she likes the paperwhite screen.

She has no problem changing the font when she is reading, but she’s really struggling to read the library and the store. The covers of the books and typeface are too small for her, even with her glssses on.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an e- reader where you can enlarge the appearance of the store and library pages? Or is anyone a Kindle whizz that could advise? Just to note, she tried using the Kindle app on her iPad but she didn’t like the screen. Thanks.

With kindle you can select book view or list view in the settings.
You can also change the size of the menu. This should be in the accessibility part or settings

How about she uses Safari on her iPad to see the listings, rather than the app? It's easy to magnify stuff on Safari using your fingers. Can't do that on an app.

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately @BlueBarnOwl she enjoys reading in bed and doesn’t want the faff of looking at the iPad then the Kindle, but thank you it would certainly make buying the books easier.

Someone she knows suggested a Kobo, but I’m not familiar with them.

Kobo has a large print mode in the beta settings which increases the size of the book icons in your library. It scales up by 145% and you see three icons instead of 4 in a row. I've never tried browsing on it though, I buy my books from the iPad and sync.
tbh I'm not sure how practical it is when the text of the description is larger as it takes up
most of the screen. Could you not get her a magnifying glass to lay over when she's selecting books? Once she's reading a book she can enlarge the font. I don't have the largest kobo though, that might be less crowded in large print mode, but would be heavier.
