Good Morning All! What's everyone doing today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my usual kitchen spot, after a nice lie in snuggled up with boy cat. I don't think he wanted to get up but I needed the loo! They've both vanished off back upstairs now they've had breakfast, presumably to bed since it's quiet.

Dd2's not up yet so it's peaceful down here, apart from the washer for work and school stuff. Dd1's back again but is working today. She was up just after 4am to shower, dress and get to work, to be picked up by coach at 6am to get to Uttoxeter. I'm quite surprised they went, although know nothing about horse racing.

My plan for the day is to clean and tidy the kitchen. It's an absolute bomb site!! Once that's done, I'll see if dd2 wants to watch the last three episodes of The Rookie with me, while I paint peg people or spend an hour planning Christmas gifts. I don't really fancy going very far in the rain!

We'll have leftover Chinese takeaway for tea this evening, and probably a fairly early night for me after a shower 💤 .

Im on the way to Glasgow for a late lunch / early tea and to watch the rest is politics. Quite excited.

DS and DDog deposited at grannies.

Looking forward to a wee wander round Glasgow too.

It will be a late return so might grab something before the trip home to eat.

I have returned from my stint in the community shop and am wondering what to have for brunch. Probably left over beef cobbler or fruit crumble with custard.

It is still cold, wet and miserable around here and I find myself counting the days until the boiler repair man comes next week. The wood stove is the only reason I haven't moved out! It keeps all the radiators warm, if not hot and blasts out heat locally.
DH has a cold so I am unsympathetically avoiding him as much as possible. He did point out that I seem cross with him for having a cold and I have to admit it. Being cold in a cold house doesn't bring out the best in me.

We have a coven gathering tonight and I am looking forward to being in a warm house, as well as the usual reasons.

Finally got dressed, delayed somewhat by the dodgy boiler that is only firing for central heating and not hot water only - was so warm today that the central heating didn’t come on ( 24 degrees by our controller) much fiddling and turning on and off got it to fire and heat water!

I wen to sleep around 3.30am woke at 10.30 am.
Just could not sleep last night.
So im doing nothing all day hopefully ill have a nap.

Evening @lucysmam & everyone. Haven’t RTT but hope you’re all having a good Saturday. Busy old day for me. Worked 9 til 3, bought straw & treats for the bunnies then went to DF & DM’s to collect my phone charger plus some frozen food that I’d forgotten (stayed there during the week). My DSil & DBro were there so it was nice to catch up with them. Next I popped home to pick up DD16 as she wanted to go for a drive. Got chips from Farm Foods then a few bits in Asda including chocolate. Finished off at Tesco to get cuticle oil for DD - it was over a tenner in Asda! Home around 7 for Strictly, although I only half watched it as I was talking to DH. Tea was battered cod, steakhouse chips & peas. Also watched some of The 1%,Club plus Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Now falling asleep …….😴
